President's Message:
Upholding the Spirit of Navodaya
A reflection on the journey of JNV Bareilly and our collective vision for a stronger, more connected alumni welfare association.
Mr. Nand Kishor Mathur
President, JAWAB (Batch 1987-1994)
The 4 Pillars
Tradition
Upholding our shared cultural heritage.
Prestige
Striving for excellence in all fields.
Discipline
The foundation of our character.
Humanity
Compassion for our global community.
"It is my proud privilege to lead this noble organization of ex-students."
It is my distinct honor and privilege to serve as the President of JAWAB—a noble organization that celebrates the enduring bond of our alma mater, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Bareilly.
At JNV, we experienced what I call a "Modern Gurukul", built upon the four pillars of Tradition, Prestige, Discipline, and Humanity. More than just academic institutions, these schools foster a unique culture of care, respect, and camaraderie between students and teachers that lasts a lifetime. JAWAB was founded specifically to carry that "Navodayahood" spirit forward, providing a platform for us to stay connected personally and professionally long after our formal schooling has ended.
Our family has grown immensely, now spanning its second generation. Today, our alumni are making significant contributions globally as IAS and PCS officers, doctors, engineers, educators, architects, defense personnel, politicians, and business leaders across both public and private sectors.
With Gratitude to Our Architects
I am deeply indebted to our senior mentors, including Mr. Naresh Sharma (1993 Batch, Founder
of All India JNV Foundation), Mr. Manohar Singh (1993), Dr. Umesh Gangwar (1994), Dr. Radhey
Shyam Gangwar (1995), Mr. Surendraveer Singh (1996), Mr. Ambuj Shankhdar (1997), and Mr.
Anil Gangwar (1998), for their unwavering guidance.
I also extend my sincere gratitude to Mr. Girish Panday (1996) for his vision, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Singh (2002) for designing our digital home, and my dedicated team—Mr. Mahaveer Charan, Mr. Patvendra Gangwar, Mr. Satyam Gautam, and Mr. Deerendra Gangwar—whose tireless efforts in organizing our meets keep our community vibrant.
As we continue to expand our reach, I invite every alumnus to engage with JAWAB. Together, let us ensure the continued success of our beloved association.
